The Club @ The Civic presents Helen Welch's Christmas Show JINGLE BELL SWING

A Holiday show that’s a little Brit different!

English song-stylist Helen Welch will help Northeast Ohio swing into the holidays with her Christmas Cabaret “Jingle Bell Swing”.

Helen will be joined on stage by her fabulous trio; Rock Wehrmann on piano, Bryan Thomas on bass and Athony Taddeo on drums.  Together they will treat the audience to a mix of classic and pop holiday favorites in their own unique style.

Songs include swinging, jazzy renditions of favorites such as ‘Holly Jolly Christmas, ‘Silver Bells’, ’Winter Wonderland’ and ‘Jingle Bells’ paired with humorous songs such as ‘Zat You Santa Claus’and some bluesy ‘Santa Claus is Back in Town’. The swinging, toe-tapping music is then paired with some gorgeous ballads such as ‘In The Bleak Mid Winter’and “The Christmas Song’. To add to the festivities Helen will also be joined by a local choir to perform classics such as ‘Silent Night’and ‘Little Drummer Boy’.  This will all take place in the intimate setting of The Club at the Akron Civic Theatre where both the performers and the audience are on stage. A wonderfully romantic, funny, swinging Holiday show to really put you in the mood for Christmas!
