The Empty Bowl to benefit Family Promise of Summit County

Woodridge Local Schools is partnering with Family Promise of Summit County to present The Empty Bowl Fundraiser to benefit the organization.  They invite the community to join them February 3, 2017, from 5:30-7:30pm at Woodridge High School.  Family Promise of Summit County is an emergency center for homeless families with children in need.  Many shelters separate children from their parents during a homeless crisis. Family Promise is unique because their mission is to minimize the trauma to children during a homeless event by keeping families together during a time of homelessness.

This is the third year of the event. Woodridge High School Ceramics students will be making more than 100 pieces of custom pottery including mugs, bowls, and platters, using various clay building techniques.  The FCCLA will be preparing a gourmet meal of soup, salad, bread, and desserts.  The Woodridge Middle and High School Interact Club will be our hosts for the evening will be educating students in ... view more »

$10 for just dinner

$25 for dinner and an original piece of pottery of your choice

Children 6 and under are free.
