The Italian-American Festival at Lock 3

 

 

The Original Italian American Festival was voted the best festival for the 7th year in a row in the Beacon’s Best Contest.

The 69th Annual Italian-American Festival sponsored by the Council of Italian-American Societies of Summit County and the City of Akron will be held July 7th, 8th and 9th, 2016. Come celebrate with us. Admission is free.

July 7
11:00 AM: Festival Opens for Lunch
6:00 PM: Wedding Soup Tasting
6:30 PM: Good Fellos Show Band
8:00 PM: Parade of the Flags/Opening Ceremony
8:30 PM: Charles Di Raimundo and His Italian Stallions

July 8
11:00 AM: Festival Opens for Lunch
4:00 PM: Gene Fiocca Band in the Commons area
6:30 PM: Monica Robins and the Whisky Kings
8:30 PM: Hollywood Nights: A Tribute to Bob Seger

July 9
8:00 AM: The Andrea Rose Teodosio Memorial 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk and Kid’s Fun Run
10:00 AM: Scholarship Breakfast
11:00 AM: Festival Opens
4:30 PM: Mass at St. Bernard’s Church
6:00 PM: Homemade Wine Contest
6:00 PM: Nied’s Hotel Band

PARKING INFO

Lock 3 occupancy is 5,000.
Shirt and shoes required for admittance.
For concerts that have an admission charge tickets are available at the gate the night of the show and need to be paid in cash. No advance sales. Children 48 inches and under admitted FREE!
