“The Thanksgiving Play”

Presented by Western Reserve Playhouse at Western Reserve Playhouse, Richfield OH

Mar 15 2020
“The Thanksgiving Play”

A comedic play reading about what happens when people try to write a play that honors both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.

“THE THANKSGIVING PLAY”
A Staged Reading by Larissa FastHorse
Directed by Constance Thackaberry

Show Date: March 15th, 2020 (One Day Only)

Our 2020 $5 Buck Play Reading Series continues with “The Thanksgiving Play” by Larissa FastHorse! This series intends to bring professionally performed plays to our audiences for a very low entrance fee to help broaden the accessibility of theatre.

Good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in this wickedly funny satire, as a troupe of terminally “woke” teaching artists scramble to create a Thanksgiving pageant that will somehow manage to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.

Western Reserve Playhouse is excited to have August Scarpelli back to our stage. A hearty welcome to our newest actors: Kyle Huff, Rachel Kall, and Hannah Storch!

This play contains adults themes and language. R RATING.
