Throwback Thursdays: Weaving Inspired by NEO Geo

Bliss out with a drink and craft in Akron’s favorite igloo, the Akron Art Museum.

Celebrate Throwback Thursday by indulging in your favorite kid crafts inspired by art museum exhibitions. Grab a glass of Prosecco and a friend and de-stress with a fun, monthly throwback art activity. These evenings are just for adults. Admission includes a glass of Prosecco from our on-tap supply and all crafting supplies for this artist-led experience. Throwback Thursday is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Admission includes one signature cocktail and all crafting supplies for this artist-led experience. Register online using the link below, or call 330.376.9186. In this class, you will make a weaving inspired by the exhibition NEO Geo. Geometric abstraction pares visual art down to pure shapes, lines and colors, yet infinite possibilities lie within those boundaries. NEO Geo features recent work by artists in the surrounding region who explore the potential of geometric abstraction. NEO Geo will be on view until April 24, 2016.
