UA Symphony Orchestra with undergraduate Concerto Competition winner

Flutist Donavan Laughlin, winner of the undergraduate Concerto Competition, joins the UASO in a performance of Griffes’ Poem for Flute and Orchestra. Also on the program is Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain,” Husa’s “Music for Prague,” and Borodin’s “In the Steppes of Central Asia” conducted by student conductor Emmanuel Koh. Guy Bordo conducts. First Congregational Church is at 292 East Market St., one block north of campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
