UA Trumpet and Horn Day

Trumpet and Horn Day will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at Guzzetta Recital Hall beginning at 4 p.m. and culminating in the Wind Symphony concert at 7:30 p.m.!

Trumpet and Horn Day will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at Guzzetta Recital Hall beginning at 4 p.m. and culminating in the Wind Symphony concert at 7:30 p.m.!  Join The University of Akron Trumpet and Horn Studios for an interactive experience on campus, including a clinic session with UA Trumpet Professor – Dr. Jim Johnson, and UA Horn Professor – Dr. Kiirsi Maunula-Johnson.

Tentative schedule of events:

3:45 – 4 p.m. – Registration / Check-in (Guzzetta Hall Atrium)

4 – 5:30 p.m. – Clinic Sessions (Trumpet / Horn)

5:30 – 6:30 p.m. – Dinner

6:30 – 7 p.m. – Soundcheck w/ UA Wind Symphony

7:30 p.m. – Wind Symphony Concert

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
