UnReal Abstract Art Exhibit and Opening

Local artists explore the freedom of the abstract for UnReal, Summit Artspace’s first gallery show of 2016 with new expanded hours.

For UnReal, local artists explore their personal voices in this curated exhibition that incorporates form, color and texture using techniques birthed from the Modern Art movement. The Summit Artspace Gallery exhibit opens Friday, Jan. 29, with a free Artist Reception from 5 to 8 pm. The exhibit is free.

UnReal will be open for the Akron Art Walk on Saturday, Feb. 6, 5-8 pm.  

NEW GALLERY HOURS FOR 2016
We have new, expanded gallery hours at Summit Artspace during exhibits and shows: 

Noon to 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays
Noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays  

What else is there to do and see in Summit Artspace? Visit Rubber City Prints on the first floor and pull a print or two. There will also be a Paint Like Pollock youth art exhibit on the first floor for short time period. On the second floor, you can grab a ticket to see Aida presented by Rubber City Shakespeare.
