Welcome Santa Parade - Downtown Akron

Join us at this annual family tradition in downtown Akron. The parade kicks off at 10:00 am and will feature over 75 units including floats, costumed characters, dance groups and area organizations. The parade will end with Santa coming to town!

The parade will take place rain, snow or shine. Our route is NEW THIS YEAR and starts at the corner of Main and Cedar Streets to be accommodated during downtown street construction. It runs north along Main St. to West Exchange St., take a left onto Exchange, runs west along Exchange, then turns right onto West Bowery Street for Children’s Hospital to view. Bowery curves to meet Main St., where the parade will take a right turn and head south along Main St. We will end in front of Lock 3 at the corner of University Ave. and State St. and meet Santa after at Lock 3!
