BEGINNER-ADVANCED: This 2-day workshop aims to teach students how to break away from “coloring” and transition to a painterly watercolor style. They will learn to fully exploit the best qualities of the medium, namely, spontaneity, freshness, and fluidity with confident brush strokes.  The workshop will focus on four major building blocks of watercolor painting; shape, tonal value, color, and edge quality.  Strong emphasis will be placed on the importance of a pre-planning stage.

Materials from provided supply list are required. Class size limited.
