Wounded Warrior Project Donation Yoga Class

Presented by Yoga Bliss at Yoga Bliss Akron, Fairlawn OH

Mar 04 2022
Wounded Warrior Project Donation Yoga Class

Join Heather for a 75 minute vinyasa to yin donation class in honor of Matthew Handshue. Matt was a dedicated yogi whom many of us got to know over his years of practicing here at Bliss. Let’s come together as a community to heal and to honor him. A brief talk will be given by yogi and Cleveland Clinic mental health therapist Lauren Jakubowski, LPCC-S.All donations will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project. It is estimated that more than 600,000 veterans live with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The challenges associated with repeatedly reliving traumatic experiences can be crippling to anyone. For veterans, this can make the transition to civilian life even more daunting.

Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) created Warrior Care Network® to provide lifesaving clinical mental health care for veterans managing PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and combat stress.

Suggested donation: $20 (any amount is greatly appreciated!). Cash or tax-deductible checks written directly to Wounded Warrior Project will be collected the evening of the event. Or, Venmo @yogablissohio and comment “Matt H”.
