Not only do students learn a core curriculum of reading and writing, math, science and history, their learning is more hands on with classes like handwork and woodwork. A school garden teaches them valuable lessons in science, health and community involvement as they donate the vegetables and proceeds of the garden to St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Akron.
