We are an interracial, multi-faith group of women who meet to gain understanding about each other and about women’s lives world-wide. Since 2006 we have pursued this purpose by organizing public events that feature discussions of interest to women from a faith-based perspective. We have also worked to promote interfaith relations and to support new immigrants and refugees in Akron.

WISH is open to all women and girls of all backgrounds and faiths who are interested in learning about each other and sharing each other’s unique cultural heritages and faiths. WISH seeks to build connections between all women in order to improve our lives.
