What talent I have in art was given to me by God, only to share with the world. I can improve my talents with practice and patience. The sheer joy of painting and creating something from a blank sheet of paper is whorth the effort. I want people to enjoy and see the beauty in this world, and bring a smile to their face. It gives me a greater joy when I can freely give a painting of a friends pet, home or portrait. A watercolor painting just look more appealing then a photograph.
I would like people to stop and enjoy life. Pleasing art can help do that. Watercolor is my favorite medium to express the best version of myself. It reminds me I have a soul. Art is my joy and the results of my paintings that make me an artist, not my qualifications. My favorite painting is the next one.

When I retired in 2008, I found that I had suddenly lost many of the opportunities for communicating that had come with my work. Painting has filled that need.
