Jessica Skinner is a self taught furniture and home decor artist based in Akron, OH. She is passionate about reimagining and restoring preloved furniture pieces and designing bold and functional items as reminders to mindfully cultivate your home space. Her designs are centered around a use of angular layering, pattern mixing, and textures.

Growing up she would visit her grandparents in Pensacola, Florida. She often watched her Grandpa, James Burgess, create numerous things from scraps of wood. Inspired by his work, Jessica went on to teach herself the trade in her mid 20s. It has since become a source of innovation and a deep connection to her rich heritage.
