Julienne’s work is a study in color. This constant exploration of color is a strong component of her art and the imagery expresses her connection to the fundamentals of the natural world. Julienne creates with watercolor, fabric dyes, collage, acrylic, and oil painting. She has also explored sculpture and furniture making with her husband.

Her work is shown at Akrona Gallery, in Akron Ohio as well as several boutique shops locally.   It has been seen at several venues around the region and is in many private collections.  She has work at Akron Children’s Museum (installation) Akron Children’s Hospital (mural), J S Knight Foundation House, Summit County Library, Main Branch (mural), Miller South School and Akron Art Museum.

She is currently teaching workshops with students on various topics in schools, facilitating professional development for art educators and working on community projects, but mostly working on her art work full time.  In her spare time she spends time with her grandchildren, helps out at their family business, rides horses and gardens.
