The Art of Play –Creating Theatre for Children A Professional Arts Workshop Series with Alison Garrigan is a series of free workshops for adults, 18 and over, on how to create challenging, engaging, intelligent, and playful theatre for kids and families. Alison Garrigan is a CPAC 2016 Creative Workforce Fellowship Grant recipient and Executive Artistic Director for Talespinner Children’s Theatre. During the first part of her Fellowship year, Ali has traveled around the country, meeting with other like-minded makers of arts for kids–now she is combining what she has learned with her own method of theatre creation, and wants to share it with fellow theatre artists, teachers, parents, and the joyfully curious and playful–to give back to our amazing community.
