The Hudson Players Announce Auditions for THUMBS!

Set in an isolated cabin in Vermont, THUMBS is comic mystery of two equally clever women from two very different walks of life who will need all their wit and will to survive a cat and mouse game with a devious killer, the likes of which has not been seen before. This is an ingenious murder-mystery with an uproarious, farcical twist. Written by multiple Tony Award-winner Rupert Holmes, THUMBS is another hit for the genius behind Broadway smash hits THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD, CURTAINS and ACCOMPLICE.

Character Descriptions (From the script)

Women:
Marta Dunhill – Mid-Thirties to late forties, Attractive, Vivacious, Sharp-Edged, Barbed (Bel Air by way of New Jersey)
Sheriff Jane Morton – Perhaps slightly older than Marta. Likeable, no-nonsense woman. (Vermont by way of West Virginia)
(non-speaking) The Girl – late teens, early twenties

Men:
Freddie Bradshaw – Marta’s ex-husband same age as Marta or older
Todd Monroe – Marta’s Boyfriend. Late 20’s early 30’s (should be noticeably younger than Marta)
Deputy Wilton Dekes – Late thirties to early forties, a bit of an “oddball’
(non-speaking) Sheriff Wesley Morton – A couple years younger than Jane
