Beginning Basics (I)

We will begin with a still life or two and move on to landscapes which reference your own photos or other beautiful scenes. You will become acquainted with brushes, canvases, and your oil paints.

Color, Composition and Design (II)

Advanced Painting/Basic

You will need all of the disciplines from above to further your coming career as an artist or wherever you will take your art, or your art may take you!

Portrait (III)

Work with live models! As you watch yourself progressing you will find how much fun this all is! This is a major artistic step in your life and can lead to many exciting directions!

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Elinore Korow is a nationally known portrait artist and a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art (studied under the renowned Rolf Stoll). A designer for American Greetings, she has had her own portrait studio since 1973. She has had major juried and invitational exhibitions, including: National Academy of Design, New York City; World Trade Center, New York City; Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Show, Golden, Colorado; Arts Club, Washington D.C.; National Traveling Exhibition, American Watercolor Society; Charter member of O.W.S; and many more. She is listed in Marquis “Who’s Who in American Art”.
