Improve Your Drawing Skills: After School Children’s Art Class with Donna Liberatore

Wednesdays: October 19 and 26, November 9 and 16
4:15 – 5:45 PM.

$140 for a 4-week class, plus $15 materials fee paid to the instructor at the first class.

Two age groups will be offered: 8-12 yrs. and 12-16 yrs

Dates and times above will reflect whichever age group fills up
first with the other offered at a later date.

Young artists will be inspired by receiving instruction in gray scale, shading, blending, texture, and different techniques using a range of pencils. Composition, balance, 1 and 2-point perspective will be taught along with measuring distance and proportion, so you can transfer your ideas to paper. In the last class, we will experiment with graphite wash, water color pencils and water soluble pastels.

Classes will be limited to 3-5 students. Extended classes will be available after completing the four-week class. They will include more instruction in wet media and advanced lessons in graphite, textures, and perspectives.
