This class will help students develop the skills they need to create works of cartoon art. While exploring drawing, design, and character development, students will learn ways to best communicate their ideas in a fun and entertaining way. The end product of the class will be original model sheets of characters, which are essential development tools for comic books, live action and animated film. George D Sukara, former Disney animator from Los Angeles will instruct.

9 x 12 60 or 70 lb weight ring-bound sketch book or drawing pad
Black, ball point pen
HB and 2B pencils
Col-erase pencils: light blue and blue
Pencil sharpener
Kneaded eraser
