Summer CAMP: A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Join Wandering Aesthetics’ Director of Education Kyle Jozsa – in conjunction with Nici Romo of Dunamis Theatre Company – as they, along with their students, explore William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Using theatrical concepts, including imagination, character creation and teamwork, students will dive into the witty and imaginative Shakespearean classic, culminating in the development of their very own dynamic performance.

This two-week long summer camp will build on the students’ theatrical experience, furthering their knowledge of the concepts of live performance. Each morning, in his engaging style, Jozsa will reinforce theatrical fundamentals and introduce the students to more advanced techniques of theatre. Each afternoon, students will collaborate to craft their tale in an atmosphere of cooperation and playfulness, culminating in a final performance for friends and family. Students should bring a water bottle and a brown bag lunch.
