Reports to: Development Director
Position: Part-time (10 hours per week) must include every other Saturday to work in art gallery setting
Education: Degree or degree in progress, or relevant experience in marketing or related field
Experience: Professional or volunteer experience in social media management
Requirements
Excellent communication skills
Familiarity with web design
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Creativity and inventiveness
Experience using Hootsuite or similar program
Work experience as a social media manager
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Self-starter attitude and ability
Responsibilities
Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Generate, publish, and share engaging content daily ( e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor web traffic metrics
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner
Oversee social media accounts’ design
Update website
Create monthly newsletter with support of AST staff
Send cover letter and resume to info@akronsoultrain.org
