Shaker Summer Theatre Camp is seeking a Technical Director for its 2019 season.

Location: Kulas Auditorium, John Carroll University 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Plugging in lights into the light board
• Setting up dimmers
• Setting up wireless mics
• Getting batteries
• Running sound board
• Setting up upstage platform
• Providing basic set props
• Striking the set

Must be able to work:

Session I

-Wednesday, 26 June from 12:30pm until 3:00pm
-Thursday, 27 June from 9:00am until 3:00pm
-Thursday, 27 June at 6:00pm (performance) 
-Friday, 28 June from 12:30pm until 3:00pm (matinee performance at 1:00pm)

Session II

-Wednesday, 24 July from 12:30pm until 3:00pm 
-Thursday, 25 July from 9:00am until 3:00pm
-Thursday, 25 July at 6:00pm (performance)
-Friday, 26 July from 12:30pm until 3:00pm (matinee performance at 1:00pm)

Some additional hours will be necessary:

Platform set up must occur before Monday, 17 June.
Strike will take place after matinee performances on Friday, 28 June and Friday, 26 July.

*Work hours are non-negotiable.

Shaker Summer Theatre Camp is unique in that we preach process and not product. This camp integrates scene work with songs and dancing.
