Olivia V. G. Clarke is a teen author, editor and diversity activist. She is looking for stories from individuals of all ages to help tell a bigger story.

Her first book project is an anthology:

“Black Girl, White School: Thriving, Surviving and No, You Can’t Touch My Hair” and the accompanying journals.

About the Book

The purpose of this book is to offer support and guidance for black girls in predominately white institutions (PWI) as well as offer insight to PWI’s so that they may gain a better understanding of our experiences.

Your Entry

Entries should be no more than 1,000 words. There is no minimum. I want to represent a variety of voices and experiences so be open and creative. Your piece can be anything from a poem, to a letter to your younger/current student self, to an essay or story. Use your voice!
