Hazel Tree Interiors is now accepting online submissions for Summit-County-made artwork and accessories to be purchased and incorporated into the decor at the new Summit County Land Bank location in West Akron.
Summit County Land Bank has moved their operations into the newly renovated John S. Knight House, located at 400 South Portage Path in Akron, Ohio. The former Knight family home has been completely restored, with offices and meeting rooms nestled into every corner of this historic gem. Summit Count Land Bank would like to honor the history of the home with some period-appropriate artwork and decor, but is also looking to include more contemporary works by artists who call Summit County home.

Hazel Tree Interiors is thrilled to assist Summit County Land Bank with this opportunity to highlight and invest in Akron’s thriving art scene. For this curation project, Summit County Land Bank especially wants to support visual artists of all media from underrepresented and marginalized groups who reside in Summit County.
This call for art has a tight deadline, with the ribbon cutting ceremony right around the corner. All submissions must be available from the artist’s current inventory. Submissions are due by May 18, 2022.

Please email submissions of up to five (5) works of art to Steve Brightman at art@hazeltreeinteriors.com and include the following information in your submission:
– Artist name, address and contact information
– Images of artwork in jpeg or pdf format, or web link to available works
– Artwork name(s) and price(s)
– Artwork size(s) and medium(s)
– Is the artwork properly framed and/or ready to hang?
