Cuyahoga Falls City Schools All City Art Walk announces a call for featured artists for our 9th annual Art Walk Event. This free celebration of youth art takes place on the evening of April 19th 2023. In previous years over 5,000 people have attended this event located along Front Street and neighboring locations in beautiful downtown Cuyahoga Falls.

Seeking artists to showcase their art form and engage with event guests. Selected artists will be
expected to attend the event in person and engage with the community the best way that fits
their art form and personal strengths. Artists are also asked to provide a video or be available to
be interviewed by students to share their art form a minimum of 3 weeks before the event date.
This video will be shared in art classrooms K-12 across our district to build understanding and
excitement about the artist for our students and families.

During the event artists are asked to engage with guests adding to the educational experience
of this art celebration in a positive and family friendly way. Artists are to submit a proposal of an
engaging activity they would facilitate at the event alongside examples of their artwork.
Examples of engaging activities include; art demonstrations, a public participatory art
activity/work, make and take activity etc. We are open to innovative ideas that fit your art form.

A minimum of one artist with a maximum of four artists will be accepted for this year’s event.
Preference will be given to artists who are able to fit their experience into this year’s theme “Art
Transports Us”. The theme encompasses transportation history in Cuyahoga Falls, and includes
topics such as travel and modes of transportation from the past, present and future.
The CFCS All City Art Walk will provide artists with a space as well as tables and chairs. Artists
will be responsible for providing any additional supplies for the experience. Artists are not
permitted to sell their work at this event. However, artist’s personal promotional materials may
be made available to be handed out and or posted for guests to view. Upon completion of the
event and pre-video expectations a stipend of $250 will be paid to each participating artist. A
complimentary dinner will also be provided to artists during the event. This is all made possible
by our incredible event sponsors and the fundraising efforts of the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools
Visual Art Booster.

The Cuyahoga Falls City Schools, in partnership with Cuyahoga Falls city leaders, local
businesses and the Cuyahoga Falls City Schools Visual Art Booster host this free,
family-friendly celebration of youth art. This year, 2023, marks our ninth annual event. The Art Walk includes artworks on display by Cuyahoga Falls student artists in kindergarten through
12th grade, along with make-and-take art activities, incredible student music performances,
professional artist demonstrations, fun photo opportunities, interactive art, over 60 businesses
featuring student made window cling art, and more.
