In its 13th year, The Made in Ohio Art & Craft Festival features Ohio artisans, local food and all that Hale Farm & Village has to offer! Each year guests enjoy the art festival as well as the grounds, buildings and period craft demonstrations at Hale Farm & Village.
Our vendors include jewelry artists, potters, wood workers, glass artists, skin care products, quilters and a variety of unique crafters. This three day festival, starts Friday at 10 am. We will provide vendors the opportunity to set up on Thursday from 10-5 and on Friday at 7 am. You must participate in all three festival days. You may not tear down your booth until 5 pm on the final day of the festival. Additionally, vehicles are not permitted on the festival grounds during the festival or until after 5 pm.
If you meet the requirements, please complete the online application and submit the jury and booth fees. The jury committee will meet on March 1 to select participants and again on May 1.

Fees

A non-refundable jury fee of $20 is charged at the time of registration. The full booth fee will then be due when you are notified of your acceptance into the show.
Outdoor 10 x 10 booth, $295
Outdoor 10 x 20 booth, $590
Indoor 10 x 10 space at Gatehouse (6 spaces available – in air conditioning), $295 (not all festival attendees enter through the gate house)
The artist is responsible for providing tent, tables, chairs for booth.
Please keep in mind that we have a VERY limited number of electrical spaces. ($100 additional charge) Please do not request electricity unless it is absolutely necessary.

Selection

The jury committee will meet on March 1 and May 1 to review the applications. The 2023 show will contain no more than 190 vendors. Applications will be screened according to originality, technique, craftsmanship, design and booth display. Additionally, we review submissions to assure a diverse selection of work. Notification of acceptance will be immediately after the jury meets. We suggest you apply early as many categories get filled quickly.
We will try to honor requests for location of booth space but they cannot be guaranteed.  Once selected by the jury committee, an email will be sent and an invoice generated for the remainder of your booth fees. You will have 30 days to pay your balance. If your balance is not paid within 30 days, your booth will be forfeited and offered to an artist on our wait list.

Artists Release of Liability Agreement

Western Reserve Historical Society and Hale Farm & Village are not responsible for thefts, loss or any personal injury to any participant or helper.
Vendor shall indemnify and hold Renee Flynn, Ohio Art Festivals, WRHS and the Property (Hale Farm & Village) free and harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and liabilities (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from the death or injury of any person or persons, or from the damage or destruction of any property or properties, arising out of, caused by or in connection with the MIO event by vendor, its agents, subcontractors, laborers and/or employees unless caused in part by any act or omission of WRHS or the property. If WRHS is named as or joined as a party to any litigation instituted by or against vendor (other than an action by Vendor against WRHS or the property), Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless WRHS and the property from and against any and all expenses, claims, damages, liabilities, losses and/or costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred by WRHS or the property in connection therewith unless such damages are determined to be the result of WRHS’s or the properties acts or omissions.
