ABOUT THE EVENT:

Throughout the past year, Wandering Aesthetics and The Akronist have teamed up to produce eight Full Circle Storytelling events – each revolving around a theme and the idea: everyone has a story.

From these storytelling open mics, ten storytellers were chosen to perform at Full Circle Storytelling: Collected Works. Each storyteller worked one-on-one with Storyteller Kyle Jozsa to further craft their TRUE stories and hone their technique. Stories range from heart wrenching to hysterical – and everywhere in-between!

FULL CIRCLE STORYTELLING MISSION STATEMENT:

A monthly open mic for community storytellers. Telling their own true tales, Akronites are placed at the center of their own life journeys. Based on the work of Joseph Campbell, we use narrative to ignite understanding between diverse peoples, building bridges– not walls– within our community.
