Description: Reiki is a Japanese energy-healing modality for stress reduction, relaxation and healing. In these classes you will learn how to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others (including pets), learn Reiki’s history and get your Reiki 1 attunement, manual & certificate (includes lecture, discussion and hands-on practice). Bring a light lunch and dress comfortably. (Reiki can help with migraines, arthritis, sciatica, asthma, chronic fatigue, menopausal symptoms, stress, emotional balance and insomnia, to name a few.)

Pre-registration required. Open to Akron Children’s employees as well as the public. And, 3.5 CEU’s offered to any RN and LPN taking this certification.
