The Myers School of Art is proud to introduce their new Art Bomb Brigade project (funded by the Knight Foundation)—a 3000 square foot mural at the funky Downtown Laundromat of 1035 South Main.  Art students from UA and local high school students with the Arts LIFT program will work with Matt Miller, Myers alumnus, to paint the mural on site starting Monday, June 13-June 24.  Visit the team on site as the magic unfolds and join us for a righteous party on July 8 from 6-9 at the Laundromat to celebrate the unveiling of Akron’s next great piece of public art!  A free party will feature gobs of food, art, vintage goods, handmade art and wearables, t-shirt vendors, and surf, punk, rock jams from local band, the Dreemers.
