In honor of the arrival of William Shakespeare’s First Folio in Cleveland this summer, Ohio Shakespeare Festival will present a performance of the bard’s most romantic scenes at the Hudson Library & Historical Society on Monday, July 11 at 7 p.m. When Love Speaks explores the amorous dynamics between the most beloved Shakespearean couples. See the budding love between Romeo and Juliet, the battle of the sexes between Kate and Petruchio and the marital disharmony of the Macbeth family. Ohio Shakespeare Festival core company members Tess Burgler, Joe Pine and Ryan Zarecki will perform scenes from: Romeo and Juliet, Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, Henry IV Part I, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and more.
