Sounds Lost & Found: Listen to the River

Sounds Lost & Found: Listen to the River

Presented by Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park at Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center

Learn to explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park in a new way! Composer and naturalist Lisa Rainsong will give instruction on the techniques and benefits of field recording and acoustic ecology. Attendees capture audio recordings of the Cuyahoga and its surrounding environments, thus creating a sonic map of this landscape.

Attendees need to have a smart phone or tablet with the app iRig installed in advance. iRig is compatible with both iOS and Android phones and tablets.

This program is presented as part of the global event World Listening Day 2016: Sounds Lost and Found, and is co-sponsored by the World Listening Project.
