Mutton Hill Quilt Show

Presented by Summit County Historical Society at John S. Knight Center

The Mutton Hill Quilt Show features quilts of amazing art and design, vendors of notions and fabric, lectures and quilt appraisal opportunities.  Held at the John S. Knight Center October 16 – 18, 2015, prepare to be inspired and amazed by the quilts on display in 22 categories exhibited by quilters throughout Ohio, Indiana, Colorado and Oregon. The Society is also pleased to bring Quilt National ’15 to Akron for the weekend.  A portion of this internationally juried show is a special exhibit from the Dairy Arts Barn and includes works from Wooster, Ohio, numerous locations across the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. View historic quilts from the Society’s permanent collection and local partners.

Don and Lisa Drumm will be recognized at a special preview event, “A Tribute to Ohio Craft,” on Friday, October 16th. The Summit County Historical Society will present them with its highest honor, a Summit Award for individuals of Akron/Summit County who have made a national impact.

Across the street at Greystone Hall, “Quilters: the Musical” will be performed by Actors Summit. Tickets are still available.
