Angie is a singer/songwriter from Akron whose song “Fireflies” won best Folk/Americana song of 2016 via The Akademia Music Awards. She is hosting a collaborative project at Miller South which allows students to experience and work along side a professional touring act while also providing their individual talents to the performance. “The Bigger Picture” is a movement that will bring awareness to the arts programs and will enhance the importance of an arts based education in the 21st century.
