Named in 2015 by Spin as an “Artist to Watch”, Heather Maloney’s path to becoming a songwriter is an unusual one. A classically trained vocalist, Maloney has studied opera, improvisational jazz, Indian vocals, and music theory and has received numerous accolades for her startlingly soulful voice.
