Permaculture is an ethical design system for creating human environments that are ecologically sound and economically viable. This multi-disciplinary approach to design is rooted in natural patterns and principles, and strives for harmonious integration of people into the landscape in such a way that the land grows in richness, productivity, and aesthetic beauty. PermacultureAKRON is a community networking group that began in spring 2016. At the December Meetup, attendees are encouraged to share stories of the many ways permaculture design can be utilized, including updates on what is happening in the permaculture movement in Akron.
