Emily Saliers, one half of the Grammy Award winning duo Indigo Girls, will be releasing her first solo album in 2017. Her stop at the Akron Civic Theatre will be one of her first solo shows.

“I’m kind of like a groove/beats/world music/electric guitar/ukulele fanatic in an acoustic guitar singer-songwriter’s body! So, I decided to shake off any reservations and make a solo record that shines the light in some of my unexplored musical corners.” – Emily
