Akron Soul Train’s Creative Conductor, Amy Mothersbaugh, is turning a lovely 55 years young and with her partner Nancy Brennan, The Station Master , they have some exciting FUNdraising celebration activities planned for YOU.
On February 12, from 5:30 – 7:30pm at Square Bar in Highland Square, 820 W Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44303. All beverage proceeds purchased between 5:30-7:30pm, will be graciously donated to help build The Akron Soul Train Village. We will be providing refreshments, music, a fabulous 50/50 raffle and an opportunity to bid/ buy art donated by Amy’s amazing art friends. There will be fantastic art finds, a prize wheel and cash prizes to win, but you will have to stop in between 5:30 to 7:30 to experience the exciting FUN. Bring lots of Fifties and Fives.

Last year we had celebrity guests stop by and so much fun raising over $5,000.00 for Akron Soul Train together, come see what surprises we have this time. Trust me we have surprises for you, so save the date and invite your friends.
We are close and working hard to raise the funds needed to break ground this spring AND host our first Fellows there this July. We truly NEED you to help us make this happen. We are so close to having that village for YOU to visit and participate in community programming.
