SUMMER CAMP: ECO ADVENTURE

Presented by Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park at Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center

Discover Cuyahoga Valley National Park! Go kayaking on Indigo Lake and explore secret places on night hikes. You’ll become a pro at building campfires and identifying animals you’ll find while exploring your national park. Play a game of gaga ball and eat dinner wearing a themed costume.

Who will love this camp? Kids entering grades 5-9 who want to play outdoors and explore their national park while meeting new friends and sleeping in bunks. Learn more about what makes our camps special!

What’s a day at camp like?

7:30 a.m.
Wake up and get ready for the day!

8:00 a.m.
Breakfast.

9:00 a.m.
Explore Furnace Run to search for invasive plants.

11:30 a.m.
Gaga Ball time!

Noon
Lunch.

1:00 p.m.
Hike to Indigo Lake to go kayaking.

3:30 p.m.
Eat a snack and hike back to camp.

4:45 p.m.
Free time! Rest up, relax, or play games.

5:30 p.m.
Dinner.

6:30 p.m.
Go for a night hike.

8:45 p.m.
Campfire.

9:15 p.m.
Bedtime.

When is Eco Adventure camp?
July 16—21 or July 30—August 4

Where will campers stay? Dormitories with bunk beds and indoor bathrooms at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center. Learn more about the center. 

What does it cost? $450 for six days and five nights. Save $20 by registering before May 20, and save an additional $20 by becoming a Conservancy member.
