Akron Good Beginnings Fair

Presented by Summit Education Initiative at Akron-Summit County Public Library (Main)

Families with children ages 0 to 5, including expectant mothers, are invited to attend the FREE Summit County First Things First Good Beginnings Fair in Akron this August. “Building Their Story” is the theme of the three 2017 fairs, which are open to the public. Summit County agencies serving children ages 0 to 5 will provide take home resources for parents and explain ways to enrich their children’s literacy and social emotional development at home. The earlier parents learn how to support brain-building moments for their child, the better. Each fair will provide pizza for families who attend. Attendees will be entered into a drawing for raffle prizes. The Sit Means Sit therapy dogs will be there for children to read to.
