Richard Elliot returns once again to The Tangier Cabaret stage after releasing his new 2016 album, Summer Madness, a follow-up to his 2014 critically acclaimed album, Lip Service. Elliot thought up the album before the making, digging deep for funky melodies whilst keeping his jazzy, R&B roots. “When I was growing up in the ’70s and first learning to play the saxophone,” he says, “I was mostly attracted to instrumentally based R&B and to jazz that had R&B roots.
