Japanese writing and calligraphy is an aw-inspiring technique to learn. In this workshop we will have a Tea Ceremony Chanoyu and Learn about Shodo: The Art of Japanese Calligraphy!
Sheila Harko fell in love with brush and ink work while attending Pratt Institute in the early 80’s. About 5 years ago, she was fortunate to find Myoshu, a Buddhist monk priest residing in NEO. Myoshu became her sensei in the Japanese cultural arts of karate, chanoyu(tea ceremony), and shodo(calligraphy).
