9th Annual Family Reading Festival

Presented by Akron-Summit County Public Library - Main at Akron-Summit County Public Library (Main)

Hands-on activities, free books, and live performances!
Book give-away to each child who attends – sponsored in part by Children and Books.
Coffee Pot Cafe will have food available for purchase. Meet and greet with Curious George and Minions look-a-likes.

10:30–11:15 am – Back by Popular Demand! Jim Gill. In the Children’s Library.

11:30 am–12:15 pm – Weathervane Chanticleers
The Chanticleers are a Youth Outreach Performance Troupe of Weathervane Playhouse that is focused on Broadway music. In the Auditorium.

12:30–1:15 pm – Coventry High School Jazz Ensemble
The Coventry High School Jazz Ensemble is an audition-based group of 20 students in grades 9-12.

1:45–2:30 pm – Jim Gill Encore Performance. In the Children’s Library.
