Master fiddler Ed Caner is joined by special guest Todd Burge, a singer-songwriter who blends wry humor, dexterous guitar work, and a rich variety of life experiences to perform everything from alternative rock to contemporary folk.
Todd Burge has emerged as one of West Virginia’s most prolific singer/songwriters. He has performed at festivals and in venues as diverse as CBGB’s, The Country Music Hall of Fame, and The Kennedy Center. Burge has also been a repeat guest on NPR’s Mountain Stage and has been called the “West Virginia’s premier songwriter”, by its host, Larry Groce. He is known by many for his method of writing songs from the unique perspective of odd characters, humans, bugs and animals.
Ed Caner has performed alongside dozens of local and national acts and is a founding member of his own band, Hey Mavis. For these intimate performances, Ed is joined by special musical guest Todd Burge for an unforgettable concert.
