Akron Art & Accessibility Forum

Presented by Alicia Hopkins at Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron

The Akron Art & Accessibility Forum explores the barriers and challenge in the art world and brings challenge and dialogue about how can make the arts accessible for people from all walks of life.

Imagine a world where the arts were more accesible and friendly to people who are differently abled. This forum is an opportunity to hear from various organizations and indivuduals on the topic of accessibility in the arts.

Accessibility goes beyond structural design or the normal ADA. We want to engage the community in conversation and challenge local community to take further steps to improvements for people with disabilities.

We will explore accessibility in visual arts, theatre, dance, and music.
