Art of Access

Presented by ArtsNow at Akron-Summit County Public Library (Main)

ArtsNow will be hosting a discussion surrounding access to arts and culture facilitated by United Way of Summit County. We hope that this discussion will continue to advance the conversation of how social service organizations can leverage arts and culture organizations as a partner in their work. During this dialogue, we will examine concerns and opportunities relative to programming, physical access, welcoming spaces, and other topics you’ve brought to ArtsNow in recent months.

We know that arts and culture can play a substantial role in community health broadly. Simultaneously, social service organizations are experts in forming partnerships to advance their organizations’ work. We want to seek your insight and expertise as to how arts and culture and social service organizations can resource each other and collaborate to promote access more effectively.

I hope you can join the discussion. Registration is free, but because it is a facilitated conversation it is a requirement to attend.
