Concerts for Kids returns in May 2016. ASO Assistant Conductor Jacob Sustaita will lead the orchestra in performances that include Prokofiev’s classic children’s tale, Peter and the Wolf.
Concerts for Kids are 45-minute programs designed for children ages 2-6. They include live classical music performed by the Akron Symphony Orchestra accompanied by narration and interactive storytelling.
Tickets are $5 regardless of age. They can also be reserved by phone at 330-535-8131. A ticket is required for all who attend. Concerts take place in a variety of community venues in greater Akron. The performance schedule is:
