A day of celebration, remembrance and brotherhood to honor Dr. King.
Join us for this free event during our ‘Day On,’ presented by The Office of Multicultural Development at The University of Akron in remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We will have a guest performance by the the Youth Excellence Performing Arts Workshop (YEPAW). Additionally, there will be over 20 community and campus partners in attendance with fun activities for the kids and information for families. There will be dancing, as well as a speech honoring Dr. King, and refreshments. This event is free to all.
This event will be held on January 21, 2019 from 10am to 1pm at the University of Akron inside the Student Union Ballrooms. 303 Carroll St. Akron, 44325.
