Callisto String Quartet

Presented by University of Akron School of Music at Guzzetta Hall - University of Akron

Grand prize winners of the 2018 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, the Callisto Quartet was formed in 2016 at the Cleveland Institute of Music and brings together four dedicated and passionate musicians who share a love for chamber music.  

The Callisto Quartet will be hosting a recital on Wednesday, April 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Guzzetta Recital Hall.  The concert will feature Haydn’s String Quartet op. 77 no. 1, Ligeti’s String Quartet no. 1 “Metamorphoses nocturnes,” Caroline Shaw’s Entr’acte, and Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major.

Parking for audience members attending evening and weekend performances is free in the E.J. Thomas Hall deck when there is not an event in that venue. Handicap-accessible parking for audience members is available in all lots, including the residential surface lot across from Guzzetta Hall.
